I’m starting something new, putting ratings of different movies I’ve seen every week.

Disney’s Bolt(2008) - 9/10. A very pleasant surprise that is reminiscent of The Incredibles.

I Love You, Man(2009) - 9/10. A hilarious and heartwarming comedy.  Jason Segal and Paul Rudd are fantastic.

The Rocketeer(1991) - 8/10. A criminally underrated action film with similarities to Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Batman(1989) - 8/10. Very dark and creepy but unfortunately doesn’t compare to The Dark Knight.

Knocked Up(2007) - 9/10. The Apatow group makes the best modern comedies.  This is no exception.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story(2007) - 10/10. In my opinion, the best Apatow film and a must see for any musician or music historian.

Death Race 2000(1975) - 8/10. It shouldn’t be taken seriously but this is a violent treat that any exploitation fan is going to enjoy.

The Haunting in Connecticut(2009) - 5/10. It starts off strong and creepy but falls apart with a cop out of an ending.

Seven Pounds(2008) - 3/10. A mess of a film that is too long and too boring with an absurd and illogical ending.

Race to Witch Mountain(2009) - 7/10. It doesn’t compare to the original but it’s charming and enjoyable.  One of Disney’s best live action films of recent years.
